Hello and welcome to the new Y.E. Smith Elementary Museum School web site! 

We will be continously updating and posting new information about our change from a traditional school to a museum school, so stay tuned!

 We hope you find it to be a quick and easy resource for general information and keeping up to date with what is happening at our school.

Y.E. Smith will be a museum school starting in August of 2009.  We will continue to follow the traditional DPS calendar.  We are led by Principal Cassandra Fogg and Assistant Principal Asha Watkins . 

Our hours of operation are 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday.  In August, these hours will change to 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.  If you would like to talk with someone at our school, please dial our contact number below or drop by our office during hours of operation.
